SUSTAINABILITY

Developing a sustainable future for our planet is the driving force behind the founding of Palari. The home construction industry can't continue to build with the same tools and materials that have been used for decades.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Traditional homes are notoriously energy inefficient. Efficient homes are more valuable because they lower the cost of utilities. Palari’s homes utilize the latest technology in solar, back-up batteries, HVAC systems and grey water recycling. The materials we select are very energy efficient because they have a high thermal resistance (“R-Value”). Using high-density insulation provides energy savings and compliance with the strictest energy codes. The world needs more housing and we need to drastically reduce our energy consumption - this isn’t a choice.

AUTOMATION

Modular and panelized construction allow a home to be built up to five times faster because the structures and site work are done simultaneously. A single composite panel can replace up to eight layers of traditional construction materials and associated trade coordination. There is a massive shortage of skilled construction workers which is only expected to get worse over the next ten years. Approximately 80% of our production is automated in a factory controlled environment, which greatly increases speed and reduces waste compared to traditional construction projects.

We aim to reach Zero Carbon emissions by 2028 and already produce close to Zero Waste in our framing construction

WASTE REDUCTION

3D printing, robotics and automation reduce construction waste by as much as 95% and yield significantly lower CO2 emissions. On a traditional construction site more than 30% of building materials end up in a landfill, which amounts to 200 million tons of material waste per year. In our 3D-printed homes we eliminate 5 pounds of waste per square foot by printing only what is needed.

CARBON REDUCTION

Each home we build has about 40% lower embodied carbon than traditionally built home,  equivalent to 5,026 miles driven and 225 gallons of gasoline burned. Wasting the earth’s raw materials at the pace we do is simply unsustainable and turning a blind eye is no longer an option
